    • DAY ONE: Arrive Dar es Salaam


      This day when you arrive at the Dar es Salaam international airport, a representative from Ketas Safaris will be waiting for you at the arrival terminal holding a board with your name on it.

      He will then transfer you to the hotel where he will assist you to check in. He will brief you on the entire safari itinerary and also allow you to ask any questions. This will take a short time so the he can leave you to enjoy the hotel’s amenities or just relax after a long flight.

    • DAY TWO: Dar to Mikumi


      Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Dar es Salaam train station at 08.30 for Mikumi National Park. Arrival time will be in time for lunch. After noon game drive in Mikumi National Park, MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK is flanked between the Uluguru and Udzungwa Mountains. Mikumi National Park is home to buffalos, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras and leopards. The park is also famous for its wild dogs and 6m long pythons.

      Dinner and overnight at the Mikumi Wildlife Camp or Kikoboga Camp.

    • DAY THREE: Mikumi National Park


      After breakfast depart for Udzungwa National park for hiking and swimming in the waterfalls. UDZUNGWA NATIONAL PARK is the newest, opened to the public 1992, and one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Tanzania. Covering an area of 1900 sq km., the uniqueness of this park lies in its biodiversity in hosting a variety of animals and plant species not found anywhere else in the world. The red Colobus and the Sane crested manbrey, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and sable antelopes are some of the residents in this park. A good range of birdlife is present which includes Rufus winged sunbird, Iringa akalat, Lagden’s bush shrike and Udzungwa partridge. Activities include a hike to the Sanje waterfalls or a climb to the top of the Luhombereo, Udzungwa highest peak.

      Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Camp or the Kikoboga Camp.

    • DAY FOUR: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park


      Depart in the morning after breakfast for Ruaha National Park. The drive to Ruaha is a truly fascinating one which gives you the real feel of the African countryside. The journey will see you pass sisal plantations, local villages before starting to climb the Great Rift Escarpment passing Iringa Town and finally arriving to your Lodge. Arrival time will be just in time for lunch. After lunch, visit a traditional African village before return to the lodge.

      Dinner and overnight at the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.

    • DAY FIVE AND SIX: Ruaha National Park


      Breakfast at the Lodge. Today you will enter the Ruaha National Park in search of game life. Depart to the parks’ gate which takes an hour’s drive, depending on the conditions of the road. Your guide will guide you through the park in such of the elusive wild dogs and herds of elephants and buffaloes. After picnic lunch, continue with late afternoon/evening game drive before departing for the lodge. This is the time that predators begin for their hunt for their evening meal.

      Dinner and overnight at the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.

    • DAY SEVEN: Ruaha to Morogoro


      After a light breakfast, depart for a walking safari which will bring you close to some of the smallest animals and plants that you would not see on a vehicle game drive. The crisp fresh African air mixed with the wild smell of the animals evokes your smell sense to the intoxication unique bush smell of Africa. Each plant and tree has medicinal value in the African Community and our guide will point them. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast before departing for Morogoro.

    • DAY EIGHT: Morogoro to Selous Game Reserve


      Depart after breakfast for Selous Game Reserve. This will be a long drive of 5 hours through some of the most scenic parts of Southern Tanzania. Villages and the Uluguru Mountains dot along the way. You will make a short lunch break by the road side arriving at the Camp by late afternoon. Thereafter proceed on a late afternoon game drive and overnight at Lodge.

      Dinner and overnight at the Selous Luxury Camp or Jimbiza Lodge

    • DAY NINE: Selous Game Reserve


      Morning walking safari followed by an afternoon game drive. Take the rest of the full day to explore the reserve as the famous explorers did in the yester years. Picnic lunch will be under shady trees with a relaxing visit the hot springs

      Dinner and overnight at the Selous Luxury Camp or Jimbiza Lodge

    • DAY TEN: Selous to Dar onto Departure


      Morning game viewing drive, depart to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch en-route and connect your departure flight home.

    The above cost includes the following Services:

    1 Night in Dar on Bed and Breakfast.

    9 nights full board accommodation in Mikumi, Selous, Morogoro and Ruaha parks in lodges and Hotels on sharing basis.

    1 night on bed and breakfast accommodation only at the Dar Harbour View Hotel.

    Private English speaking driver/guide.

    Ground transportation on exclusive basis and in a 4x4 top of the market land cruiser vehicle with services of a driver guide.

    All park fees.

    All vehicle entry fees in the parks and reserve.

    Water while on game drives.

    • Ketas Safaris requires a 25% non-re­fund­able de­posit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the sa­fari and the bal­ance 60 days prior to the ar­rival for clients to safe­guard the reservation.

      Reser­va­tions will be can­celled if the final pay­ment is not re­ceived by the due date with full loss of de­posit.

    • All cancellation must made in writing to Ketas Safaris and all cancellation will be charged a cancellation penalty depending on the number of days before tour departure:

      Within 45 days (No refund of the deposit)

      Less than 20 days (No refund of the total amount)

      There is no refund of any unused portion of your Kenya safari Trip once commenced. Cancellation penalties on Airfare are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges.

    • Tour cost are based on all known costs and rates of exchange in 2016, any significant changes beyond the control of Ketas Safaris will be passed on to passengers.

      Ketas Safaris also retain the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions or natural phenomena.

      Ketas Safaris also retains the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour for any reason or if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard and/or inconvenience other passengers or wildlife.

      Ketas Safaris is a member of the East African Wildlife Society and Eco-Tourism Kenya hence encourages proper treatment of wildlife and the local people
